A little about me:

I've been known to be referred to as one who is a bit passionate about learning. :) I really did fall in love with teaching the moment I first stepped in front of a group of students in grad school. I will never forget that day.  I will also never forget the turn my life took when I started teaching online.  Online learning has taught me so much about teaching and about learning. It has opened my eyes to the rich, collaborative, human-centered environments we can create for our students.
  • More than 10 years' higher education experience including online course design and instruction

  • Action research interests: how faculty-authored eBooks improve the traditional professional development process for supporting faculty with technology training, as well as how learning out loud through asynchronous voice communications affects cognition and social presence in online classes
