It sounds like you had a great time while learning much. I know you are presenting at the upcoming Online Teaching Conference...thought I'd let you know that we run a Vodcasting course where faculty can quickly produce video for their instructional activities. The first time we ran the course back in Spring of last year, we have some more serious camera equipment on hand. We did not have much so we invited some of the faculty to bring their own equipment. What was brought by a couple of the participants were these Flip Video cameras...it got us thinking about how we can bring some of this to critical mass using these inexpensive video production options. You can share this class with your colleagues. Also, I recently shared with our communication instructors @MSJC the Flip Video camera as an alternative to the methods they were using with students who were recording speeches for self assessment. They were using mini DVD recorders and it required plenty of media and would be significantly more costly should any damage occur. They love it!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
